Announcing New Slate of Officers for fiscal Rotary year 2014 / 2015

Naples-Pelican Bay Rotary Club announces Officers for fiscal 2014 / 2015 Rotary year. These officers are committed to serving our community through fundraising and personal sacrifice for the betterment of all. We support various charities (both locally and internationally) and provide scholarships to needy Collier County High School students through Quest for Kids. Scholarships amounted to $3,500,000.00. Total donations in 2013 / 2014 were nearly $75,000.00.

Victor Ortino, President Naples Pelican Bay Rotary said: “It’s an honor to become the new president of our wonderful club, which has such a long history of service to our community. It?s going to be a very exciting year. Our major fundraising events include the 2015 Chalk Art Festival on Fifth and our Annual Pelican Bay Golf tournament, while our activities include the Letter Carrier Food Drive for Collier Harvest, weekly food pick-ups at Publix Supermarkets for St. Mathews House, NCH blood mobile contributions by members every 60 days, Annual Dictionary distribution to all Collier Schools third graders project, Farm City BBQ, Miracles in Action and International service projects. We have a lot of fun doing these things, but the main purpose is to make a real difference in our Collier County community.”
